The European Commission has published the proposal of a European Directive for the promotion of cogeneration in July 2002. It is now up to the European Parliament and the Council of Ministers to discuss, possibly amend and finally adopt this Directive. This event aims to inform about the contents of the proposed Directive and the current views of the European Institutions. It will be available to COGEN Europe Members only and it will be free of charge. Presentations from the different EU Institutions during the morning will be followed by a debate on COGEN Europe's viewpoints and positions in the afternoon. Up to three persons from each Member organisation may attend.
