| Description: |
Educogen
created
the first European Education Tool on energy-efficiency through
the use of cogeneration, working towards fully trained personnel
within the cogeneration field. Educogen has been launched within
the framework of the SAVE II Programme of the EU.
Educogen brings together universities, training centres and cogeneration
experts from Greece, The Netherlands, Belgium, Poland, Denmark,
the UK and France to put together a full educational package including
the use of micro-cogeneration units.
The Educogen Work Programme includes the following phases:
- Phase
1: Inception, Kick Off
- Phase
2: Analysis and creation of the tool (Identification of training
needs from the energy industry and training opportunities
from the education community / Creation of a framework for
courses / Installation of micro CHP units in each university
- Phase
3: Pilot implementation of the tool (Theoretical sessions
on the concept of cogeneration and the installed unit / Practical
experiments around the installed unit / Analysis of case studies
- Phase
4: Evaluation of the tool (Evaluation work concluded by a
workshop)
- Phase
5: Dissemination and Continuity
