Description:

The HOTEST project is a business-oriented activity for the promotion, implementation and evaluation of energy saving technologies in the tourism sector (in particular hotels). In other words, a "technical assistance" oriented methodology has been elaborated to promote the implementation of these technologies through a variety of actions (regional market surveys, technological assessment studies, monitoring, information folder elaboration and dissemination, design sheet elaboration and execution, business meetings, hotel site visits and elaboration of a support tool for policy making). The aim of the project is to draw the attention of the hotel businessman to these technologies, maintain it and encourage him/her to invest funds in this investment category.
